Briefly learned a bit about Unix back in Air Force tech school, much of which I forgot. Started playing around with Ubuntu around 10, then 13...now I'm wrestling with 18 and making all sorts of "just enough information to be dangerous" mistakes. Have already reinstalled 3...or was it 4? times. Currently running 18.10, but if I break that I'll probably drop back to 18.04.

BTW, if anyone knows how to get hold of my old friend Bicha on the Gnome development team, have him drop me a line.
