Anthony Nash

Senior Research Scientist at the Dunn School of Pathology, University of Oxford, and a research member of Kellogg College, University of Oxford.

Trained as a Computational Chemist with an interested in drug-ligated nanoparticles interacting with model bilayers and proteins, metalloprotease and advanced glycation end products in collagen protein, and drug discovery and drug repurposing using clinical epidemiology of electronic healthcare record and cheminformatics. Drug work focuses on pain-diseases validated using in vitro lab techniques. My early Oxford results were used to establish a university spin-out pharma company.

Before science, I spent a good few years in the private sector working first for Sendo (a UK based mobile devices company) and then Motorola as a smart-phone software engineer. Experience with most languages, but I have a preference for OO languages, especially Java and C++. All stats are performed using R and I've only just started using Python.
