First Linux install was from floppies, with Slackware, to a brace of 40MB hard drives (MFM on RLL controllers, so 60MB each). That was about early 1994. It has come and gone since, until I bit the bullet and went completely Linux (on my own machines ; Work is a Windows shop) in 2014.

Not a developer. I never got my head around OOP, and the last time I did any programming for myself, I had to write my own approximation to an IDE.
