By Day: Microbiologist and part time IT consultant. By night: Begging for air (just as in the daytime) as my posterior trachea and lungs were torn away from my torso by (severe physical trauma) a police beating with metal night sticks when I was a 3 year old child (so much so that when I woke a day or more later I was still covered in blood, bruises and broken ribs). This means that each time I exhale my trachea collapses from the back (posterior) towards the front (leaving only an 8mm or smaller pathway for the air to move through and out of my lungs) and my bronchi close partially (for some and all but completely for others). This means that exhaling is always a challenge and doing so with any force causes my airway collapse to be complete or nearly complete (preventing all of the air from leaving my lungs, causing me to loose consciousness) if I try to move very fast (such as when I try to move from my SBC's power button back to the keyboard in order to hit the F12 key as is unfortunately required because I have received no help in resolving the issues with the latest Ubuntu system and installer both of which (appear to) completely block the use a FAT32 file system partitions for /boot. So, in order to boot my SBC I have to experience extreme trouble breathing for the 3+ hours which follow as well as 8 to 52 hours of coughing (which is an extremely forceful exhale, so I loose much of my life (because I cannot move nor think well enough due to the extreme lack of Oxygen [79% to 91% O2 saturation according to my pulse Oximeter] which is due to what I am forced to do in order to boot Ubuntu. Unfortunately no one has provided any help whatsoever for this boot issue which I have written posts for, each of which people asked for more information, followed by more information and so on, until Ask Ubuntu senior users completely block and delete the posts claiming that they do so because the posts become to long (even though as much happened because I was repeatedly asked to extend the posts by other Ask Ubuntu users which then results in other Ask Ubuntu users deciding to block the posts which grew only because as much was asked for by other and sometimes the very same Ask Ubuntu users). It is becoming clear that my asking such questions will not be provided any useful answers and I would be forced to switch to Fedora, Arch or Slackware because of the issue which is made enormous due to my Physical Handicap and that lack of aid given. I think I will change my picture to one of my Handicapped placard to show that my (secondary level) Tracheobronchomalacia truly is as bad as I have made clear above.
