PHP & JavaScript developer who likes to dabble with electronics, microcontrollers, embedded systems and assembly language.

I’ve done a lot of Symfony 3-5 but more recently I’ve been fighting against entropy and trying to bring creaky old PHP-5 codebases up to date.

JavaScript is the worlds second favourite functional language and I still can’t decide if I love it or hate it. After years of struggling with the “Java” in it’s name, I met JQuery and finally saw how it should be done. These days, I think Vue.js is just the bees-knees.

I’ve never forgot my Pascal and Ada; done some Ruby and Python; getting into Rust because it looks wonderful and Kotlin because of Android and it’s got closures.

Obviously, can’t live on Earth in the early 21st Century without having done some C and C++ but would rather use any alternative.

I also run a tiny Unimat SL lathe, but am barely competent. I used to make a lot of Electronic music and "arty" videos but not so much these days.
