Though I have not become a regular Linux user until the past few years, I have been dual booting my machines for about ten years. There is still some I do not know, and over the years I have visited askubuntu frequently to see the answers given to questions that were identical or similar to my own. Now that I have a little more Linux and Ubuntu experience, and I am able to answer certain questions myself, I want to contribute to the experience of those who are still learning. I may still ask some questions if I end up with an issue that is not yet addressed, but my primary reason to be here is to share what experience I do have with those who do not yet have it.
As far as who I am apart from Linux, POTATO. I love them. Nothing else is relevant.
Oh, and I'm an Eagle Scout from Upstate New York who loves the snow and has had to learn how to tolerate the humid heat of summer. I enjoy computers a ton, but I also enjoy camping, nature, skiing, cycling, and photography. Above all, though, I enjoy reading. I read an average of around four to six books a month, and if I did not have other commitments in life it would be a lot more than that.
