Just your average mid-thirties computer enthusiast. I fell in love with computers as a child when I got my first Apple IIc. Became a Windows user around '95 when the Internet became a big deal, and switched permanently to Linux about a year ago. I like to think of myself as a "power user" but am probably using the term incorrectly. I love to tweak and customize my system, and have taught myself a bit of scripting but I am DEFINITELY not a programmer by any means. I enjoy finding ways to "improve" my system, and then coming to sites like Ask Ubuntu so I may learn how to fix it when my "improvements" break it. I am proud to say that all the computers in my home (including my wife's!) now run Linux and we are a Windows-free household!
