I am relatively new to Ubuntu as a tool. I come to it as a computer technician schooled in Windows troubleshooting and repair. I love open source software and have been using Ubuntu on my MacBook since early 2013, but that has not garnered any real information about how it works. I have spent decent amounts of time learning web code (HTML5,Java,CSS3,PHP) and I like to learn anything related to the usefulness of computers, which is what brought me to Ubuntu's ease of use. Using Ubuntu's GUI didn't teach me much other than it's beauty, but now I've invested some time into a low powered server for temporary file storage and web design (a place to practice mySQL); so I am here to learn how to "get my hands dirty" in Ubuntu.
