I began programming on a DEC PDP-8/e using Focal and Assembler. I switched to Assembler on a PDP-11 and used it to develop a reservation system that ran for 16+ years in Finland (Nokia was my employer). Moved to Germany for more PDP-11 work in a tri-national team... later into the CAD/CAM field. Then I worked for DEC, Compaq, HP, and finally SAP. Now that I'm retired I can finally get down to learning all the fun stuff.
