I%27m%20a%20Linux%20newbie%20but%20I%27m%20determined%20to%20get%20my%20favorite%20applications%20on%20my%20laptop%20running%20Ubuntu%2012.04.%20I%20just%20installed%20Cinnamon.%3Cbr%3E%3Cbr%3EI%27m%20trying%20to%20install%20Visual%20Python%20and%20it%20requires%20Python%202.7.%20I%20followed%20the%20instructions%20on%20the%20VPython%20site%20but%20the%20Wine%20application%20isn%27t%20extracting%20anything%20from%20the%20Python%20.msi%20file.%20From%20the%20first%20line%3Cbr%3E%3Cbr%3E%20%20%20%20wine%20start%20/i%20python-2.7.5.amd64.msi%20/qn%20TARGETDIR%3D%7E/Python27%20ALLUSERS%3D1%3Cbr%3E%3Cbr%3Eit%20says%20%60fixme%3Astorage%3Acreate_storagefile%20Storage%20share%20mode%20not%20implemented.%60%3Cbr%3E%3Cbr%3EI%20created%20that%20Python27%20directory%20so%20I%20know%20it%20exists%20and%20it%27s%20empty.%20I%20know%20Ubuntu%20already%20has%20Python%202.7%20so%20I%20just%20tried%20running%20the%20VPython.exe%20file%20but%20it%20says%20%60%26quot%3BThis%20program%20can%20only%20be%20installed%20on%20versions%20of%20Windows%20designed%20for%20the%20following%20processor%20architectures%3A%20x64.%26quot%3B%60%20My%20Toshiba%20satellite%20has%20a%2064-bit%20processor.%3Cbr%3E%3Cbr%3ECould%20anybody%20help%3F
