I connect to my corporate network through "Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client". But as long as the VPN is active, I lose access to the internet. Is there a way to configure Ubuntu network manager or Cisco client in order to restrict requests that go through the VPN to a single domain ?

  • Afaik that has to be configured on the VPN-Server... – derHugo Jan 7 '18 at 15:25
  • Not really sure what the second part of your question is: "...to restrict requests that go through the VPN to a single domain"? If you don't have Internet access when connected to the VPN, first try to determine if it's a DNS issue (which is common for Linux/VPN connections): ping 8.8.8.8 - are the pings successful? – Vanessa Deagan Jan 7 '18 at 17:07
  • ping 8.8.8.8 returns nothing, it hangs indefinitely. I know there is something to be done on the server side, but I'm looking for a client-side solution. – J.Dorn Jan 8 '18 at 10:20
