  • i don't know if there is a direct way for this; but hacks work. cron a job/script to run as often you like; have it email you if it detects the condition you are looking for. this works for almost anything. (be aware of the cost of your script; resources it uses & freq.) – guiverc Nov 18 '17 at 1:05
  • The 'crontab' application does not have that feature, but you can create an hourly (or whenever) cron job script that counts it's peer cron jobs, tests, and outputs wherever you desire. – user535733 Nov 18 '17 at 2:43
