When using proxychains with tor, I am able to hide my ipv4 address with a random ipv4 address, though when checking my ipv6 address on http://test-ipv6.com/ it still gives me my real ipv6 address. I am wondering if it is possible to hide both ipv6 and ipv4 addresses while using proxychains with tor.

  • I'm using Ubuntu 16.04.
  • The tor service is active.

I have my proxychains.conf configured already everything was left as is, except for these (left out all comments/disabled options):

tcp_read_time_out 15000
tcp_connect_time_out 8000

socks4 9050
socks5 9050

Here are the test results (from test-ipv6.com):

test results from test-ipv6.com

It shows a random ipv4 address but it also shows my real ipv6 address which is blurred out in the image.

How can I fix this?
