My issue with Wifi is different from the one in the question marked as duplicated: that question was about how to collect the information. I have already collected the infor, but I am afraid i cannot catch the issue.

Wifi still stops working every now and then, always when starting up. The card is an Atheros AR9285

I have attached the output of the suggested Wireless Info script, hope that somebody can help me to fix this issue.

Thanks in advance

This question has been asked before and already has an answer. If those answers do not fully address your question, please ask a new question.

  • Are you using WPA2-AES? What wireless channel? How far from the wireless router? – heynnema Jul 24 '17 at 20:51
  • ":~$ lshw -C network WARNING: you should run this program as super-user." means you should do sudo lshw -C network – waltinator Jul 24 '17 at 22:59
  • I am using WPA2-AES, the WLAN mode 802.11b/g/n and 2.4GHz. The channel in used is selected automatically by the router..Should i fix it always to the same one? Regarding the router is less than 7 meters away, in another room, there is a windos computer in the same room, connected also via Wifi. – isblanco Jul 25 '17 at 17:09
