I am new to Ubuntu and know nothing about it except for a few failed attempts at dual boot. I have a 120GB SSD with Windows 10 installed on it, a 2TB HDD which I use purely for storage and I just bought another 120GB ssd today which I have only plugged in and left uninitialized.

My plans are to dual boot my rig using the Windows SSD to run Windows and the new SSD to run Ubuntu MATE with the 2TB HDD to be the storage device for both OS.

How do I set the fresh SSD up to do this and how do I go about setting the dual boot up? Every time I have tried installing Ubuntu in a dual boot setup, whenever I reboot after installation Windows seems to hijack GRUB and it boots straight up to Windows.
