  • Does nautilus work in the guest or root accounts? – heynnema Jun 26 '17 at 14:55
  • Yes I can open it with sudo and root, but not with the user account until I restart. – Vishvendra Singh Jul 3 '17 at 9:21
  • How about the guest account? With the normal account, a restart fixes the problem? Do you know how to fsck your disk? – heynnema Jul 3 '17 at 12:49
  • What's the output of find ~ ! \( -user "$USER" -readable -writable \) -ls? – David Foerster Jul 9 '17 at 11:30
