I have unknowing selected delete previous operating system while installing ubuntu 16.04.Even though I stopped the installation process after knowing that I clicked install now. Now I cannot see my windows partition and also hard disk type changed from NTFS to Linux. I need to recover important data from the hard disk. Please help.

  • @krishna yes I understand that .. you have chosen to use whole disk for Ubuntu. But you don't have "important data" without having a backup, do you ? – Soren A Jun 22 '17 at 7:58
