I have confronted with a problem. To my great surprise I could not find a solution for a seemingly simple problem – to fix a rather widespread malfunction as follows.

QT applications like qbittorrent, goldendict, skype and many others don't maximise from the system tray in the proper way. For example, while using Lubuntu 13.10/14.04 I had never met such a problem. Namely, when I clicked with the left button of the mouse on the icon of a minimised application it was possible to evoke that application in maximised form. Clicking with the right button of the mouse I could evoke contextual menu of the application .

Now, using Lubuntu 16.04, with the left button of the mouse I can evoke only contextual menu of a minimised application.

When I click with the right button of the mouse on the icon of a minimised application the “Indicator applets menu” is evoked.

Native GTK applications work correct. For example, Audacious application with activated "Status icon" plugging is maximised from system tray with the click of the mouse's left button, and with the click of the right button contextual menu of Audacious appears.

Recommendations to install "sni-qt"

apt install sni-qt sni-qt:i386

have brought no improvement.

Please, help me with the advice how to solve this problem.

Thank you in advance for your kind assistance.
