I'm trying to run the following command:

sudo snap install core

but I get an error message:

error: cannot perform the following tasks:

and systemctl status

I'm running in a VM so possibly that might have something to do with it

make a fake service to work around the error:

sudo touch /etc/systemd/system/systemd-fsck@dev-disk-by...service
sudo systemctl enable systemd-fsck@dev-disk-by...service
