I've been trying to get my USB wireless adapter TL-WN722N(EU)V2.0 to work in an Ubuntu virtual environment. It can connect to VirtualBox, and Ubuntu identifies the device based on lsusb output. However my device is not listed lshw output, only the Ethernet adapter is displayed under network class.

iwconfig/ifconfig does not display wireless interface.

I have followed a few troubleshooting guides which suggested to install the rtl8188eu driver from github. However my device is rtl8188euS. I'm not sure if this matters, but the driver doesn't seem to work.

Here's a log of diagnostics: https://pastebin.com/F2g7mmy0
