I've looked in Synaptic, I've checked Ubuntu Software Center and I've tried 'sudo apt-get remove pinegrow.' And I simply can't find the answer out there in internet-land. TIA!

How I installed Pinegrow:

I downloaded PinegrowLinux64.2.951.zip from the Pinegrow website https://pinegrow.com/

I then extract the contents of the archive: sudo unzip PinegrowLinux64.2.951.zip -d /opt/pinegrow

And created a link for easier running: sudo ln -s /opt/pinegrow/Pinegrow\ Web\ Designer /usr/local/bin/pinegrow

To run the program I type this into a terminal window: pinegrow

locate pinegrow:

  • Do you have any idea about how you installed that program? Add to your question the output of locate pinegrow – M. Becerra Mar 25 '17 at 9:43
  • when you use a zip to install generally you need to remove the software with rm or shift-delete from Nautilus. In some cases the creator also includes an "uninstall" in the directory that got created. If so use that. Looking at this /opt/pinegrow I would assume there is an uninstall in that directory. – Rinzwind Mar 26 '17 at 15:16
  • Doh! Of course! Thanks Rinzwind! – dawnselene Mar 27 '17 at 16:27
