I get this whenever I try to install a package
$ sudo apt-get install metacity

$
I tried the basic fixes, didn't work.
sudo apt-get clean && sudo apt-get autoremove
sudo apt-get -f install
sudo dpkg --configure -a
This is what I get when I do an apt download
$ sudo apt download metacity
