Facing many issues regarding internet:

  1. Firefox unable to open tabs in first go. have to refresh many times open any site.
  2. Unable to download any package/software.
  3. Even official software updater is failing.
  4. Tried sudo-apt get update But to no avail (pasting below terminal o/p )
  5. Tried changing server as well to 'Main server' still no resolution.
  6. Made an attempt to change the server to another location and on clicking 'Select Best Server' the o/p is 'No suitable download server is found'

Changed by DNS to 8.8.8.8 but no sucess :(

Well the below part is an edit : I did change the dns to 8.8.8.8 , 8.8.4.4 (i hope that's default google). restarted my browser and undid and did my connections again.

below is a new screenshot of ping google/ubuntu and apt-get update yesterday it was bit different. But i'm still facing issues while opening tabs in firefox.

--> since i'm coming from windows i thought restarting my system (post above update and changes) may work but it didn't. Any other suggestions ?

update: i've googled and read varios forums but not getting any help ! Do we really have experts looking at the site ??!
