I'm brand new to using Linux, and have been having a great deal of difficulty getting my gamepad to work. It's a wired XBOX 360 controller built by Rock Candy, I followed the steps to install xboxdrv, but when I go to calibration the controller isn't sending any signal through... if I try pushing buttons or moving the sticks on the configuration screen, nothing reacts. The controller itself has a blinking green ring error code, instead of the usual display of a solid green light on the top-left arc. It makes no difference which USB port I use. Any help would be welcome.
