I would like to access my Google Calendar offline through the Calendar application. However, when offline, Calendar opens just an empty view.

Is there any way to cache Google Calendar offline?

Use Evolution. Add google calendar into evolution though online-accounts. Restart. Now open calendar. And it will show you calendar events. i.imgur.com/6GpeVrU.png – Khurshid Alam Oct 15 '16 at 8:02
