I'm trying to build a package with snapcraft cleanbuild which uses lxd to build a snap in a container. Unfortunately it fails pretty quickly with an http 500 error. The host is able to connect fine, and in fact the url the error message prints is actually a 404, not 500. So I don't understand where the 500 comes from.

$ snapcraft cleanbuild

Do you still have that issue? It seems to have been transient (I didn't get it). I think thought that snapcraft should be more robust in this and do some errors and retrials, as the deb builders are using the same technic. – didrocks Jun 16 '16 at 13:14

Yes, but differently today. E: Failed to fetch archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/f/file/… 500 Internal Server Error – popey Jun 16 '16 at 20:10
