I'm using a PQ321QE in conjunction with two U2412M. Unfortunately, the PQ321QE which I'm using as a main screen only supports 30Hz in SST mode so I'm forced to used it in MST mode. The issue I'm having now is that the I have two separate screens inside the PQ321QE:

Layout of the screens

How can I merge those split screens into one virtual, so that e.g. maximizing windows stretch over both screens?

Some debug info:

  • nVidia Drivers
  • Ubuntu 15.10
  • Kernel 4.2.0-18

xrandr output:
