I have a problem with my bluetooth adapter. Can't turn it on, and i followed some tutorials to fix that, but with no luck. It seems to be soft blocked, I run the command to soft unblock, the icon in taskbar goes white for a 0.5 second and then is switched back. how can i unblock this? here is the output of console when I run rfkill list all
:
0: phy0: Wireless LAN
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: no
1: hp-wifi: Wireless LAN
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: no
2: hp-bluetooth: Bluetooth
Soft blocked: yes
Hard blocked: no
I used sudo rfkill unblock bluetooth
to unblock bluetooth. Thanks.
UPDATE (by cipricus):
I have seen exactly the same issue in 16.04, and the last two commands in the answer fixed this for the moment. As the question was closed because the OP didn't answer to comments and/or said it has uninstalled Ubuntu, it should be reopened as I want to take it over (reposting the same would be a duplicate).
