I can't install Pantheon Greeter in Ubuntu 14.04

Question

I want to install pantheon Greeter from Elementary OS in Ubuntu 14.04. When I follow every tutorial on the web I get it in the Terminal:

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

What is going on?

In my search libgranite3 (>= 0.2.0) not available for 14.04

so before installing pantheon we need to add the following PPA(that will install libgranite3):

Open terminal and run the following commands in terminal

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:elementary-os/daily
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:elementary-os/os-patches
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install pantheon-greeter

Note: Remove the PPAs after installation
