I have installed windows 10 ubuntu & mint on my pc now i want to remove ubuntu and keep linux mint & windows. so how to delete ubuntu? what will happen with mu GRUB & MBR if i delete my ubuntu partition please help me i don't want to mess up with boot-loader.

  • Actually i have two linux and one windows and i am not sure that if i delete Ubuntu how will my boot-loader detect other two OS as removing ubuntu will also remove GRUB and if its removed then how the other two OS will get detected? – Akshay Katariya Aug 25 '15 at 19:09
  • UEFI or BIOS, makes big difference. but make sure default boot is into system you are keeping not one you are deleting. – oldfred Aug 25 '15 at 19:13
  • Just uninstalling Ubuntu won't get rid of GRUB. – TheWanderer Aug 25 '15 at 19:16
  • Yes @Zacharee1 i know that i have recovered from dual boot once its not the issue here and i dont have secure boot So if i delete ubuntu what will get restore to boot-up my system now? As i dont have ubuntu now which support most of the OS via GRUB. – Akshay Katariya Aug 25 '15 at 19:20
