Although Ubuntu 14.04 enables TRIM out-of-the-box, it only does so on Intel and Samsung SSDs. I bought a Kingston SSDNow v300, not knowing that Kingston wasn't supported, and now I'm rather lost.

How does one enable TRIM on Kingston SSDNow models?

Update: According to Kingston's tech support, their SSDNow drives have an internal "garbage cleaning" mechanism. Therefor, there is no need to enable TRIM on these drives, and you actually shouldn't. It will compete with the garbage collecting mechanism that comes with the drives.
