I have downloaded DVD files which I want to burn to a disc an play on TV, but Brasero is not helping me much with that. The files are not in the .iso format. If there are other software that can help me with this, please tell me, or if I can get it done with Brasero, well enough.

  • Have you tried with any other like K3B - KDE Burning Tool, GnomeBaker like this many are available try with those too from which some could help you. – vembutech Aug 10 '15 at 6:44
  • So why do you not tell us in what format they are? – Rinzwind Aug 10 '15 at 6:48
  • The files are in .vob and .bup format, just like how you would find in a normal DVD – Nikhil Jayakrishnan Aug 10 '15 at 7:04
  • Then see this askubuntu.com/questions/28052/… – Rinzwind Aug 10 '15 at 7:46
  • Try devede. Run sudo apt-get install devede and give it a try. If you like it, I'll post as an answer – Sergiy Kolodyazhnyy Aug 10 '15 at 7:53
