I would like to type entire words (using modifier keys) for every key on my keyboard. The desire is to increase typing speed by using less key presses.

For Example:

mod + A --> The
mod + Q --> Them
  • Can you give an example input/output you expect? – TuxForLife May 17 '15 at 23:07
  • @TuxForLife, exmples added as you requested. – KI4JGT May 17 '15 at 23:25
  • In which program will you be doing the typing? You'll need to make sure that combinations such as mod + A or mod + Q are not already used by the program itself (or the window manager). – DK Bose May 18 '15 at 1:56
  • @DKBose, They're not. I mapped the meta key to the start keys. – KI4JGT May 18 '15 at 3:44
