I did install reaver 1.4 from the following two commands. Now I have to remove it, how can I do that ?

$ sudo apt-get install libpcap-dev sqlite3 libsqlite3-dev libpcap0.8-dev
$ wget http://reaver-wps.googlecode.com/files/reaver-1.4.tar.gz

A. the commands you entered do not install reaver, just download it's source code.

B. if you really installed reaver from source code, you can remove it by downloading the tar (the second commend you stated), decompress it (run tar xf reaver-1.4.tar.gz) enter the src directory (cd reaver-1.4/SRC) and run sudo make distclean.

This will remove any file created by reaver installation on your system.

Follow the below steps to remove reaver installed as mentioned above:

  1. tar xf reaver-1.4.tar.gz1 //extract the previously downloaded file
  2. cd reaver-1.4/src
  3. ./configure
  4. make
  5. sudo make distclean
