  • what do you mean with selection number? – Pixdigit Nov 3 '13 at 12:47
  • after typing sudo update-alternatives --config default.plymouth you will be asked to chose a theme for plymouth by typing the selection number according to the theme you want to chose. – Dzero Nov 3 '13 at 12:51
  • and if Step 2 returns something like this There is only one alternative.. just skip it! – Dzero Nov 3 '13 at 12:52
  • Tried it but the logo is still missing. – Pixdigit Nov 3 '13 at 12:54
  • I guess we'll have to wait for the pros – Dzero Nov 3 '13 at 12:57
