I have a great interest in typing in the Elder Futhark on Linux and am wondering if there's an application that I haven't heard of that can help me to accomplish that similarly to how microsoft IME works.
One idea is to create an ~/.XCompose file, add some <Multi_key> entries there, and define a compose key to be able to type such characters more conveniently.
