I am using a wired mouse. it is bothering me with it's slow speed in scrolling up and down with its wheel. I want to fix it. Can anyone help ?

You can change mouse scroll speed with this package: imWheel
1 - Install this package:
sudo apt install imwheel
2 - Create a new setting file:
nano ~/.imwheelrc
3 - Paste these lines to the file,
".*"
None, Up, Button4, 3
None, Down, Button5, 3
Control_L, Up, Control_L|Button4
Control_L, Down, Control_L|Button5
Shift_L, Up, Shift_L|Button4
Shift_L, Down, Shift_L|Button5
4 - Edit the speed "3" at the end of lines two and three represent the number of lines to scroll ("3" is the default value on ubuntu)
Modify this number to suit your needs. Once you're done, save the file.
5 - Restart imwheel
imwheel --kill
6 - Set it start with ubuntu
Open Startup Applications
Put these texts into input boxes,
That's all
According to an answered question on AskUbuntu (this question is similar), you can
- Open Apps -> Startup Applications.
- Add a new entry to the bottom of the list: Name= Wheel Scroll Speed , Command= imwheel , Comment= Activates wheel scroll speed fix on system startup (or whatever you like)
Type:
xinput
you will get a list of devices together with its (device ID), like:

type xinput list-props
and the device ID

Maybe you have natural scroll activated, or maybe you want to change the amount of scrolls per lines.(notice those are two different answers). Try to change one of the options by:
xinput set-prop [device ID] [prop ID] [boolean, integer or float]
example:
libinput Natural Scrolling Enabled (292): 0
To activate it, it will be xinput set-prop
, device ID
, prop ID
, and boolean
in this case:
xinput set-prop 16 292 1
then if you type xinput list-props 16
again, it will show:
libinput Natural Scrolling Enabled (292): 1
Boolean values are: True or False, often represented by
0
=False or1
=True.
notice the example above it's an example it doesn't change your scroll speed, I hope it will help you figure out by yourself. Also notice that your device may or may not have this hardware capability, if it does you should change the "amount of scrolls per line"
