I’ve installed exagear on my jetson nano and I have also activated an old license that I’d bought some time ago. Actually I’m trying to understand what to do further. I have installed the i686 version of ubuntu 18.04 as guest os,but it does not work properly. what’s missing ? below u can see what happens after having invoked the “exagear” command :

this is what happens when I'm inside the exagear guest os (ubuntu 18.04)

root@ziomario-desktop:~# ping www.google.it
ping: www.google.it: System error
root@ziomario-desktop:~# exit
exit

this is what happens when I've logged out from the exagear guest os :

root@ziomario-desktop:/home/ziomario# ping www.google.it

  • Can you elaborate "doesn't work properly"? If the problem is with apt update then it is because you are not properly connected to the internet. – Pilot6 Jan 18 at 19:59
  • I'm not able to connect the guest os to internet,but when I exit exagear,you see that I'm connected : check this : Sudoers I/O plugin version 1.8.21p2 root@ziomario-desktop:~# ping www.google.it ping: www.google.it: System error root@ziomario-desktop:~# exit exit root@ziomario-desktop:/home/ziomario# ping www.google.it PING www.google.it (216.58.206.35) 56(84) bytes of data. 64 bytes from lhr35s10-in-f3.1e100.net (216.58.206.35): icmp_seq=1 ttl=114 time=18.4 ms 64 bytes from lhr35s10-in-f3.1e100.net (216.58.206.35): icmp_seq=2 ttl=114 time=18.5 ms ^C – Marietto Jan 18 at 20:11
  • I have no idea what exagear is, but you need to have the guest machine to be connected to the internet to be able to get updates. As simple as that. I don't see a question about Ubuntu here. – Pilot6 Jan 18 at 20:13
  • Im not able to get internet when I'm inside ubuntu guest os. and it's ubuntu. I see that the question is partially tied to ubuntu. – Marietto Jan 18 at 20:14
  • If you install any other system this way, you won't have an insternet connection uless you configure something with exagear or whatever. So I am voting to close this as off-topic. – Pilot6 Jan 18 at 20:16
