I am creating a personal access token from gitlab and using it to authenticate so I can read my repository from the terminal. I followed the instructions here: https://docs.gitlab.com/12.10/ee/user/profile/personal_access_tokens.html

The token is stored currently inside a .npmrc file and set as the auth token, but this is not the main issue here I think.

Everything works for me, but when I share this same access token to one of my co-workers it seems that he gets a http 401 error. There doesn't seem to be any documentation indicating how sharing these tokens work because when I know this token seemed to have worked for other people and other's not. Is there a limit to how many people can use the same access token or something?
