i understand that there are several posts on this issue but as i am not very familiar with this subject I need some guidance. I looked at Ubuntu 20.10 sssd (System Security Services Daemon) failure and I did try to copy the file from /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/sssd/conf/sssd.conf but since this is raspbian i needed aarch64-linux-gnu instead of x86_64-linux-gnu. The same failure happened on startup.

ubuntu@ubuntu:/etc/sssd$ cat sssd.conf
[sssd]
domains = shadowutils

[nss]

[pam]

[domain/shadowutils]
id_provider = files

auth_provider = proxy
proxy_pam_target = sssd-shadowutils

proxy_fast_alias = True

it looks pretty sparse but i have no idea what to do with it. can someone give me the minimum since i would have no idea what to put in ldap_search_base, for example.
