Here's how I installed steam:

$ sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt install steam

If I run steam:

$ steam
ILocalize::AddFile() failed to load file "public/steambootstrapper_english.txt".
libGL error: No matching fbConfigs or visuals found
libGL error: failed to load driver: swrast
SteamUpdateUI: An X Error occurred

Then a window pops up and steam downloads an update and extracts it and then: Fatal Error: Failed to load steamui.so

How can I fix this?
