Hey guys im a window user and I just installed ubuntu into my lowspec laptop.

During the installation it was stucked in a place where it says "retrieving files 92 out of 123".

I restarted my laptop and put it back on installing again but same issue appeared.

Then I saw a skip button after pressing that everything went running again and after it got installed now I'm facing issues with installing anything from both the terminal or the software center, it says

unable to install "application name"

and after watching few tutorial from youtube things got worst: now it says something like

"E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.

Kindly help get rid of this problem thank you!

A 'low spec' laptop may have problems because it does not meet the minimum specifications for Ubuntu. However, it could have enough power to run one of the other 'flavours' (esp. Lubuntu,, Xubuntu, and Budgie) of Ubuntu ubuntu.com/download/flavours . What do you mean by 'low spec'? – K7AAY May 4 '20 at 20:52
