Hello I have Linux machine with Ubuntu 18.04 on corporate network. We login into Windows machines with domain credentials like:

corp_domain/username

On my linux machine I am not logging by domain credentials (but I am still in network). I have local user "labuser" I set up shared folder on Ubuntu, with local linux user and I added him to samba by

sudo smbpasswd -a labuser

I can see the folder in Windows machine, but when I enter credentials it pops error. I think there are two options how to handle this. First, I need to add domain users into samba. Is it possible? Or second, I need to login in windows by "labuser" - but Windows is set to login with "corp_doman" prefix...

How to handle this?
