I installed Ubuntu 18.04.3 alongside Windows7 and since then I am not able to access Windows7. Did some research and found some articles dealing with this subject. However I am not able to find the Windows7 or NTFS in any thing displayed for fdisk -l.

What I should do to get Windows 7 option in start up and boot window7 or Ubuntu as and when I wish?

    Delete all the loops, they are not real partitions. And format so make it readable. But near as I can tell you only have one partition sda1 as Linux. Or you did not install alongside but used erase disk option. If you have any data you did not have well backed up, STOP using system as it is overwriting data as you use it. You may be able to recover some data, but not all.

  • Initially Windows7 was installed in c drive and machine has D & E drives. I cleared the E drive so that I can install Ubuntu. I selected alongside installation option for sure. Jan 30, 2020 at 10:50
