I am having an interesting issue with my Xubuntu/Windows 10 dual boot: mouse and touchpad settings on the one system take effect on both systems: for instance, if I disable my laptop's touchpad in Xubuntu, it remains turned off, when I boot into Windows, and this can't be reverted from Windows. This is also true the other way around.

This is rather annoying since I like to use slightly different settings on either system (The touchpad should be set to disable while typing on Xubuntu, but not windows).

Is there any way I can do this, without having to turn this on and off every time I need to change the system?
