I am working with VirtualBox 6

  • Hosts: Mac and Windows
  • Guest: Ubuntu 18.04 (Desktop)

I need resize the hard disk of the Guest (Ubuntu), it for the two hosts.

The following link resolved the first part of the process. It about the vdi file

The second part and reason of this post. How resize, in this case increase or expand, the partition in Ubuntu, it to see reflected the expansion achieved in the vdi file.

I want accomplish this through the two ways

  • Command: consider the Ubuntu Server scenario
  • GUI: (by Ubuntu's own tools)
