I've been trying to install Ubuntu 19.10 and 19.04 but neither of those have worked.

I have used both GPT and MBR on both flash drives for both versions. I have also tried both UEFI and Legacy boot but I either get stuck in a loop or get a message saying "End Kernel Panic Not Syncing"

My Specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 2700X MB: MSI B350 PC Mate GPU: AMD RX 580 HDD: Kingston 240GB SSD

Any help would be greatly appreciated

  • To be clear, you click the Install Ubuntu icon, and that error above shows up. Is that right? Also, have you checked the ISO file for errors? – mikewhatever Oct 19 '19 at 18:55
  • Yes, I've tried both "Install Ubuntu" and "Try Ubuntu Without Installing" as well as safe graphics and they never get to the Ubuntu splash screen. I have tried to check the ISO for errors, but that crashed as well. – DrinkingPants74 Oct 19 '19 at 20:11
  • You need to verify the downloaded file, ubuntu-19.10***.iso. askubuntu.com/questions/867339/… – mikewhatever Oct 19 '19 at 20:18
  • I verified the 19.10 ISO I was using and it said it was good. I rewrote it to the flash drive, but it still didn't work. I also downloaded a new file and tested it. That one also came out clean, but failed to install also. – DrinkingPants74 Oct 20 '19 at 2:08
