I am trying to transfer books from my PC to my Kindle Paperwhite. It is working fine from Windows, but when trying from Ubuntu I get that it is "read only". I followed the advices in this topic (Calibre can not send book to Kindle):

mount sudo fsck.vfat -r /dev/sdb (in my case)

I accepted to clear the bit, then I got a question to correct the blocks and I declined. After that I tried many times to plug and unplug the device, but it is not recognizing it at all. And what is worst, the PC does not recognize not only the Kindle now, but also other USB sticks and I am completely sure that everything worked fine after those commands above. If I put the command mount now I get:
