I hope someone can really help me with that.

I had many problems to install my wifi TP-Link Archer T2U Adaptater on Xubuntu 18.04. After long time searching the internet I found a solution that upgrading my kernel to the brand new version 5.0.5 could solve the problem and it was really solved.

But a week ago the upload speed of the adapter decreased a lot. The Download it's ok I'm having problem only with upload.

Look what I've already did:

  • I have Windows installed on this notebook and there it's working like a charm!
  • I have an Archer C7 router 2.4/5GHz and I've already tested disable the 2.4GHz
  • When I use the 5GHz band the download is ok and upload is poor but when I use 2.4GHz band is the opposite the download is a shame but the upload is FASTER than using 5GHz (yeah, I know it's crazy)

Using 5GHz:

5GHz

2.4GHz

2.4GHz

More information:

filimm@avaris:~$ uname -r
5.0.5-050005-lowlatency

I can give any information you want. I just can't understand how it got slow from nothing.
