Im running Ubuntu 19.04 on a HP Omen Gaming Machine. The sound is very low when compared to Windows 10 ( I am dual booting ), almost like half throttle with the sound all the way up.

I have tried hdajackrestack as well. I noticed that when I plug the speakers in to the front headphone, it outputs very loud sound. The rear ( green) is still at half sound. I have Ubuntu running under a VM on Windows 10 and it sounds perfect, it shows the following audio driver being used.

Any ideas, why the sound is so low ? I have even modified the alsa base conf to hp, still nothing.
